The Idea Behind Red Kite Resort
Red Kite Resort was created from the idea of making a holiday home stay a little more comfortable, convenient and uncomplicated.
We wanted to create a place that deliberately stands apart from traditional holiday homes and hotels in the region. A place that combines the freedom and privacy of your own holiday home with the comfort and service of a hotel.
That is why our holiday homes are particularly well equipped, with many services already included in the nightly rate. Bed linen, towels, bathroom amenities, a generous selection of kitchen essentials, as well as electricity and water are all included, just like the use of your own private hot tub and our garden sauna.
Our goal is simple: you should have to bring as little as possible and be able to focus on your holiday from the very beginning. Ideally, almost all you need to pack is your toothbrush.
Plenty of Space for Your Kind of Holiday
Red Kite Resort is set on spacious grounds with plenty of greenery and room for many different holiday moments.
While the children play together on the lawn, you might start the morning with some yoga in the sunshine, find a quiet spot to read, relax outdoors or simply enjoy spending time together.
From the very beginning, it was important to us to combine a sense of community with privacy.
All four holiday homes at Red Kite Resort are identically equipped. This makes our concept especially convenient for families and friends travelling together. Several houses can be booked at the same time, allowing you to meet on the shared outdoor areas, visit each other and enjoy your holiday together.
And whenever you feel like some peace and quiet, everyone still has their own private holiday home to retreat to.
From an Idea to Red Kite Resort
Red Kite Resort was founded by the two partners Mathias Schulz and Kevin Kraus.
What you see today as four modern holiday homes and spacious resort grounds was created step by step over several years. Matthias, a trained bricklayer, personally built and developed a large part of the resort himself.
Over time, an idea gradually became the place we are now happy to share with our guests.
Even though Red Kite Resort is now fully built, we do not consider the concept finished. We continue to develop it, listen to our guests’ feedback and keep looking for ways to make every stay even more enjoyable.
Our goal remains the same as it was from the beginning: a relaxed, high-quality and uncomplicated Baltic Sea holiday where you have as little as possible to worry about.
